Candidate Statement: Ted F.

Since joining DSA, I have worked with the DSA Ecosocialist Working Group and local Climate Caucus to build DSA’s role in the movement for a Just Transition. Motivated by this vision, I’ve helped grow our caucus to 100 members, organized the ecosocialist reading group, spoken at EBSS, and organized a demonstration against coal financiers. As a Union lawyer, journalist, press operator, and web designer, I’ve afflicted the powerful for 50 years. I am currently a national leader of System Change Not Climate Change. My goal for Atlanta is to roll out a powerful, intersectional, class struggle Green New Deal campaign.
