Candidate Statement: Sean M.

Over the past 2.5 years, I have helped build EBDSA into an organization capable of influencing elections and strikes. I began canvassing Oakland and Berkeley and then built the data and communications infrastructure that supports every committee and campaign. As Treasurer, I supported EBDSA to feed Oakland Teachers and students through Bread for Ed. For us to continue fighting for socialism in East Bay, we need an effective and politically-focused National DSA. As a delegate and member of the Bread & Roses caucus, I will advocate for class-struggle electoral campaigns, a Green New Deal, and legal/administrative support for chapters.
