Candidate Statement: Robbie N.

Since January, 2017, I have been co-chair of the Labor Committee, a member of the local Steering Committee, and delegate to the 2017 National Convention. I’ve helped plan marches, picket-line support for OEA and other strikes, canvasses, and local conventions.

As a delegate I’ll advocate for mass, strategic, working-class campaigns that challenge capital, like a Green New Deal, Medicare for All, and Bernie Sanders. As a union member and Labor Committee activist, I’ll advocate for a stronger national DSLC, helping get DSA members into union jobs, coordinating picket support, and putting the “movement” back in the labor movement.
