Candidate Statement: Nick F.

I'm co-editor of Majority (East Bay DSA’s official publication) and co-chair of the Political Education Committee; I'm also a shop steward and representative to the Alameda Labor Council for my union, UAW Local 2865. This past year I helped lead our chapter’s successful Socialist Night School program and made essential contributions to communications for our campaigns around Jovanka Beckles and the Oakland teachers’ strike.

At DSA’s National Convention I’ll fight for strong campaigns around Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, and electing Bernie. These campaigns will allow us to excite thousands or even millions of working people about socialism.
