Candidate Statement: Miguel D.

I'm co-chair of the Racial Solidarity Committee and the PG&E/Green New Deal Campaign. I've organized with the Housing Committee, the Electoral Committee, and the newsletter team, and am a union leader, negotiator, and former member of a co-op board. I am committed to building our chapter and the socialist movement!

Over the past two years, EBDSA learned valuable lessons through our teachers’ strike, Medicare for All, and Jovanka Beckles/Prop 10 campaigns. I look forwarding to bringing these lessons, my experience and energy to Atlanta, where I will help ensure that we keep class-struggle politics at the forefront.
