Candidate Statement: Dan E.

I am a co-chair on the PG&E/Green New Deal Campaign, member of the Housing and Racial Solidarity Committees, and the Climate Justice Caucus.

As Ecosocialists we constantly contend with the widening effects of capitalism on the world. To combat the threat of climate change we must radically reshape our economy and prioritize communities most impacted.

As a delegate my priorities will include:

• Connecting labor struggles to broader social movements.
• Center organizing in Frontline and vulnerable communities.
• Ensure a Just Transition for those affected by climate disruption.
• Develop structures in local chapters which directly engage with community based organizing.
