Candidate Statement: Bonnie L.

I want to nurture the healthy growth of DSA with intersectional, socialist feminist and ecosocialist organizing commitments and experience. I helped write and motivate amendments successfully added to the Green New Deal and Political Education sections of EBDSA’s 2019 Priorities Resolution. I helped jumpstart our Climate Justice Caucus. And I’ve led singing at childwatch, strike rallies, and our regional pre-convention in LA. I’ll struggle to help find optimal balance of DSA’s focused force for immediate wins with our visionary, longterm work as co-creators of a powerful left bringing about economic, racial, gender and climate justice in the US and internationally.
