Recap: Labor Notes Fundraiser

The Labor Notes Fundraiser on January 20, sponsored by East Bay DSA and local labor unions, was a huge success! With more than 120 attendees, we raised more than $6,400! All proceeds will go to travel scholarships to send local, young, low-income workers to Chicago for the Labor Notes Conference April 6–9.

The fundraiser was sponsored by NUHW, IBW_ILWU, IATSE Local 16, OEA, AFSCME 3299, CSEA, and the San Francisco Labor Council.

The Labor Notes Biennial Conference is the gathering for radical, left labor unionists to gain the skills they need to organize more militant, effective unions that can win against the boss. Visit the Labor Notes website to apply for a scholarship.
