District Canvasses Are Now Neighborhood Canvasses

Over the past few months, the district canvassing program has demonstrated that there's real power in organizers talking to and mobilizing their neighbors.

Since neighborhoods are a much more organic grouping than the arbitrary boundaries of district lines, our canvassing program will be now be organized by neighborhood, not city council districts. The Berkeley District 3 group will expand to cover South Berkeley with new neighborhood canvassing groups coming soon. There's no longer any need to worry about whose district you're in; just show up for whatever makes the most sense. Door by door, neighborhood by neighborhood, East Bay DSA is building working-class power for socialism.
