  again in recent months\, and the immigration court in SF has officially c
 losed\, leaving our immigrant neighbors with one court in Concord to atten
 d in order to remain legal permanent residents. On top of that\, DHS is tr
 ying to open 2 new detention centers in the Bay in Dublin and Gilroy\, res
 pectively. </p><p>To respond to these developments and prepare for worseni
 ng conditions\, the Migrants Defense Committee is leaving <em><strong>NO S
 PACE FOR ICE </strong></em>in our local businesses by canvassing workers a
 nd owners on how they can make their workplace more resilient to ICE invad
 ing their businesses.</p><p>This event is a<strong> training</strong> to a

 ts Defense Committee</strong> is leaving <em>No Space for ICE</em><em>! </
 em></p><p>We\n will be informing local vendors about their rights in their
  relations with local law enforcement as well as ICE/DHS/CBP.</p><p>This\n
  is our first canvas at Lake Merrit\, and we will meet at <strong>The Perg
 ola </strong>to make new connections to new vendors and build up our commu
 nity resilience! Look for the table with the DSA banner for training and m
 aterials. You can pick up fliers to hand out from 11:30am-noon\, then we h
 ave an hour to hit as many businesses as we can! Meet up again at the same
  spot to return any unused signs at noon. </p><p>Wear DSA a shirt/sweater 
 if you can\, or put a DSA pin on a visible part of your clothing. Language
  capacity for Spanish and Chinese is appreciated but not necessary\, we wi
 ll have a resource in various languages you can use to make connections to
